Point at a folder of JPGs on this Mac. Addresses come from the filenames, positions from the photos' GPS data. Originals are never modified. A Damage Intelligence - Hail flight needs the hail-viewer.json the Mac prep step writes into the folder.

Areas your clients have outlined and asked you to fly. Quote one and it becomes an invoice with a promised delivery date; the moment it is paid, the job shows up on their account as a data set in progress.
You can place one on a client's account yourself, and any order can be put in the queue at no charge, which skips the quote and the invoice.

Automatic quoting
Every order is priced from its home count the moment it arrives, so the quote form opens
already filled in. The schedule is marginal — the first band's rate applies to those
homes, the next band's rate to the ones after that — which is what puts the volume discount
on the invoice as its own line.
SINGLE PROPERTIES
Pins this far apart or less count as one
location and share one minimum.
TURNAROUND
How soon they want it, as a percentage of the capture price. The client picks a date on the order form
and sees a total; they are never shown the multiplier or what another date would have cost. It appears
only on the invoice, as its own line, so a rush is visible there and a longer lead time reads as a credit.
Card payments (Stripe)
Lets clients pay an invoice on the site with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Paste the secret key
from dashboard.stripe.com → Developers → API keys (it starts with
sk_live_, or sk_test_ to try it out first).
Without a key everything still works — you record payment yourself with Mark as paid.
Optional but recommended: add an endpoint in Stripe for
checkout.session.completed pointing at
and paste its signing secret here. It records the payment even
if the client closes the tab before Stripe sends them back.
Invoice wording
Shown on the invoice PDF, and to clients when card payments are switched off.
AI damage detection
Scans every roof photo and rates visible damage (none / light / moderate / severe) with plain-English findings.
Clients see damage badges, a damage filter, a damage map view, and findings in PDF reports.
Needs a Claude API key from console.anthropic.com — roughly $15–20 per 1,000 photos.
Roof permit records (Shovels)
Pulls re-roof building permits so houses show their real roof replacement year.
Coverage varies by county — use "Fetch roof permits" on a dataset card with the neighborhood's ZIP.
How it works
1. Create a dataset from a folder of roof JPGs, then press Import — thumbnails and zoomable tiles are generated automatically.
2. Add a company and create logins for their team.
3. Tick the dataset checkboxes on a dataset card to grant that company access.
4. Clients sign in at this same address (works on tablets on the same wifi — see the terminal for the tablet URL).
