from it, using an assumed pitch, to within about 5 to 10
percent.…
Measured. A circuit of the roof at 45 degrees. The drone flies a circle around the property, taking angled
photos of every side of the roof as well as the overhead one. The angled views show
condition and damage that a straight-down photo cannot, and they give the roof estimate
more to work from than the overhead shot
alone.…
Thermal. A second pass with a heat camera. Flown separately and added to either of the above. Shows trapped
moisture and missing insulation that a standard photo does
not.…
